The Company will comply with the spirit as well as the letter of environmental legislation and approved codes of practice. We will cooperate fully and maintain open relationships with all regulatory authorities. The Company will assess the environmental effects of its projects, policies and operations, with a view to reducing and controlling environmental impact. It will maintain an Environmental Management System throughout its operations.
The system will address the use of energy, raw materials, water and waste, and it will seek to prevent and limit Environmental accidents. It will develop contingency procedures in case of such accidents and will evaluate, control and reduce, where practicable, noise within and outside its sites. It will seek continual improvement of environmental performance wherever it is reasonably practicable and economical to do so.
The Company will foster an understanding of the environmental issues arising from its business activities amongst its employees, suppliers, contractors, customers, and within the local community. Where the opportunity arises the company will; make informed contributions to the development of public policy on relevant environmental issues.
We will review this Policy on an annual basis.
